About Transplant Centers

Representing the largest group of UNOS membership, transplant centers are the medical institutions that operate organ transplant programs.

As of October 7, 2008, 253 transplant centers in the United States were operating one or more organ transplant programs. The following is the break-down of all organ transplant programs in the U.S.:
